Dear fellow Probians,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new year has started with a lot of grey rain clouds however what a joy it is to see dams full,  rivers flowing and waterfalls showing off their beauty wherever we care to look for them.  I certainly hope you have been able to enjoy the beauty our summer season is giving us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some years ago our upcoming guest speaker, Prof Leon van Niekerk attended our local meetings with his wife Elzette regularly as guests and it was during this time that he agreed to address the Hogsback Probus group.  Well, the time has gone by and the impact of Covid has accelerated international change at a mind-boggling rate.  When Leon was asked to address us he remembered his promise,  agreed to address us and his subject of choice will be \u201cMental Health and the New Normal in the workplace\u201d. I believe this is a subject that is very close to the hearts of many of our members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022             Our first meeting during 2020 will be this coming Wednesday (19 January) at the Edge at 6 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022             The cost for Probus members is R130 and for guests it is R105.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022             Please let Jan Delport know if you have any special dietary requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022             Special notice re Covid 19 – In line with other Probus clubs your committee requests that you do not attend or bring guests along that have not been vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask that you pay particular attention to this request considering the age of the majority of our members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look forward to meeting one another again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
