Ken Forrester\u2026The King of Chenin in South Africa. The winemaker from Ken Forrester Wines, Shawn Mathyse, will showcase some of their spectacular, award-winning wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their 2021 Old Vines Reserve Chenin won the \u2018Wine of the Show\u2019 award at the Decanter world wine awards last year, one of the most prestigious wine awards in the world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be tasting 7 wines, including their world-famous (R650 a bottle) Icon wine, Ken Forrester THE FMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Folks, this is going to be a good one. Educational and fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(V) Baby marrow rosti and mushroom\u00a0stack served with cauliflower mash and roasted beetroot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beef fillet with a brandy and black pepper sauce served with oxtail\u00a0ravioli, a beef carpaccio salad and roasted vegetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dessert:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pears poached in Chenin blanc, Turkish lokma and a honey and poppy seed parfait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R250 per head includes a welcome glass of their Sparkle Horse, and the tasting of 6 other wines, plus The 2-course dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
