{"id":2326,"date":"2020-02-27T14:42:09","date_gmt":"2020-02-27T12:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hogsback.org.za\/?p=1436"},"modified":"2020-02-27T14:42:09","modified_gmt":"2020-02-27T12:42:09","slug":"hogsback-tourism-management-village-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visithogsback.co.za\/site\/hogsback-tourism-management-village-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Hogsback Tourism Management Village Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thanks for all the support received for the proposal to establish a Hogsback Tourism Management Team (HTMT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be a meeting to elect members to the HTMT for each of the portfolios necessary to manage &amp; run Hogsback Tourism:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Information Centre Management<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Maintenance of Trails <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Events Coordination<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Marketing <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Finance<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Public Relations &amp; Communication<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This last portfolio is in addition to the portfolios that have already been identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your nominations for people that you would like to have involved for each portfolio \u2013 nominees must be enthusiastic and passionate with the appropriate skill set and experience. Also, that a high standard is maintained and the Information Centre is professionally operated.<\/li><li><strong>Maintenance of Trails <\/strong>&#8211; includes inspection, repair and signage for all walking trails<\/li><li><strong>Events Coordination<\/strong> \u2013 quality control, data gathering, safety &amp; security, and events calendar management. To ensure that the Hogsback Tourism Vision is complied with for:<ul><li>One off events<\/li><li>Ongoing activities<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Marketing <\/strong>\u2013 digital media, social media, print media<\/li><li><strong>Finance<\/strong> \u2013 budget and manage income &amp; expenses<\/li><li><strong>Public Relations &amp; Communication <\/strong>\u2013 to ensure that all public press releases and any other media statements relating to tourism are properly communicated, as well as effective communication within the Hogsback community<\/li><li> Date for first HTMT meeting<\/li><li>Meeting close <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Portfolio guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>HTMT to liaise with Hogsback tourism association to ensure that Hogsback Tourism Vision is maintained on all levels<\/li><li>HTMT to meet regularly with at least 1 representative from each portfolio<\/li><li>Each portfolio\u2019s team to nominate their representative \u2013 they will meet as regularly as needed to ensure that their portfolio is functional<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks for all the support received for the proposal to establish a Hogsback Tourism Management Team (HTMT).
