Classically trained in piano and saxophone from a young age, Lara commenced a Bachelor of Music degree at Nelson Mandela University before making the drastic career change to law. Focussing on sax and vocals, Lara has a theatrical background, having played in show bands for productions such as <em>Guys &amp; Dolls<\/em>, <em>The Producers<\/em> and <em>Evita<\/em>.
