Bowls - Everyone Welcome!

Hogsback Bowling Club

In Hogsback, we play bowls on a Tuesday and Saturday afternoon. In summertime (October – March) tabs in at 2.30 to start playing at 3pm and at 13:30 for 2pm in winter (April – September). We have spare woods available for visitors and the nominal fee (R50 for non-members, R30 for members) for the afternoon, includes the hire of woods and the green fees. Combo Tour - Abseil, Mountain Bike

Hogsaback Adventures

Our Combo Tour starts with an easy 5km cycle to the abseil point where you will meet your guide and abseil down the famous Madonna & Child waterfall. Hogsback Library

Jikani

The Hogsback Library has been run for many years by community minded volunteers. It is open to all residents and is FREE. It was first located in the little Rondavel on the Village green in Redcoat lane, but later moved to the Reading Room, located at Jikani in the main road. The library has a good selection of books, some from the Provincial Library Services and some from donations from Book Clubs and locals. The first Hogsback Wine Escape brings wine tastings, pairings, food markets, live music and special dining experiences to venues across the village.

Just Grey

RedClay Cafe

Get ready for Just Grey, the one-man band that’ll have you tapping your feet and singing along! Roger MacLachlan brings a laid-back mix of old favourites, folk-rock and easy-going rhythms. Grab a drink, settle in and enjoy a summer evening of great music at RedClay Café. The show is free and artist donations are warmly encouraged.
