Library
The Hogsback Library is a community-run library that provides access to books and paper worlds. It serves as a space for reading, research, and literacy within the village.
More than just a collection of books, the library supports education and preserves stories, knowledge, and local history. It moved from its previous location on Redcoat Lane into a building constructed using eco bricks. Eco bricks are made by tightly packing plastic into bottles, creating reusable building blocks that help keep plastic out of landfills and the natural environment.
The library also houses an old printing press and several comfortable reading spaces. It is run entirely by volunteers and relies on community support, including donations of books.
Opening hours are: • Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM • Saturday: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
