Pilgrims arrive in Hogsback
Welcome Lunch is served @Woltree with Tony + Glen.
12.30 pm to 2 pm.
After-lunch:
Drive in convoy to The Edge Mountain Retreat.
Quick tour by Belinda. Check into suites.
Re-gather at Bella/Kombi and drive together to the Chapel.
Meet Trevor, historian, author and pilgrim of note.
Walk the designed reflective Prayer Walk.
Interactive chat with Trevor on the history of the chapel and the area around Hogsback.
Drive with Trevor to a viewpoint of note.
Drive back to The Edge.

Dinner at the fire.

MONDAY 16 OCTOBER

Daybreak Walks are optional.
The Edge boasts spectacular mountain views and is on 15 acres of gardens.
Devotions and Breakfast from 8am.
All pilgrims are welcome to contribute each morning at Devotions.

Drive in Bella to the natural heart of Hogsback- THE ARBORETUM – where we will meet our guide, Carol, a gardener and flower pilgrim of note.
Together we walk through ancient indigenous forests to 39 Steps Waterfall.
Listen to trees, the birds, the water …
Carol will take us to one other Top Garden.
Drive to Thrive and journey with Dianne and her quest with soil and food…
We will enjoy her food creation as our lunch.
Meet Trevor and visit some sacred places with him, followed by a 2-hour forest walk…
Drive back to The Edge. Labyrinth walk optional.
Free Time
Regroup @ Bella for 6.15 pm
Drive to The Touraco Table where we will be hosted by French chef Laurent and partner Angus.
We will also hear Laurent’s heart around his Camino journeys.

TUESDAY 17 OCTOBER

Breakfast from 8 am.
Walk to the Echo Shrine where Dianna will share her creative journey…
Walk to Back o’ the Moon to connect under the Tulip tree and enjoy a light lunch and connection chat with Norma, a retired doctor, pianist, lay preacher and pilgrim of note…
Pilgrims dropped off at Away with the Fairies to meet up with guides for a 3-and-a-half-hour hike through the forest to the Big Tree and onto Madonna and Child Waterfall.
Pilgrims will be picked up at the end of the hike.
Dinner at the fire at The Edge.

WEDNESDAY 18 OCTOBER

Devotions and Breakfast from 8am.
Drive to Hobbiton Adventure Centre to meet Tonya who will share the vision and history of this precious place.
Forest Walk where survival skills are shared and more…
Pilgrims taken to Woltree for lunch followed by an essential oil talk by Tonya.
Products will be for sale.
Free time.
Dinner  at The Edge

THURSDAY 19 OCTOBER

Pack up.
Park cars if not driving in your own vehicle to the farm stay.
Breakfast from 8am.
Drive out to where pilgrims start walking to Lowestoffe Farm Stay.
Walk this Holy Highway to gates of Lowestoffe.
Pilgrims are picked up and driven onto stays.
Lunch is served.
Afternoon free time
Dinner at the fire

Devotions and Breakfast from 8am.
Long Walk with Robin (farmer)
Lunch
Free time
Fellowship braai with Neil and Robin
