Probus Meeting

Dear fellow Probians,

Life is certainly never dull in our little mountain village.  Since our last meeting we have had scorching hot weather, coldish weather as well as rainy and dry days.   There are new faces on the mountain and well known faces leaving the mountain, two of these are Probus founder members, Trevor and Ann, who have started relocating to East London.  Fortunately we will still see them from time to time at various forums in Hogsback and we wish them well in starting this new chapter of their lives.

One of the relatively new faces is the new manager of the Cape Parrot Project, Susan Wishart, who will be our guest speaker next Thursday.  Susan has kindly agreed to address us and has titled her address “Parrots….what’s that all about?”   Even though we have been addressed by representatives of the Cape Parrot Project in the past I encourage you to join us because the new learning about our parrots always make this local subject extremely interesting.

•             Our second meeting during 2022 will be this coming Thursday 17 February at the Edge at 6 pm.

•             The cost for Probus members is R150 and for guests it is R125.

•             Please let Jan Delport know if you have any special dietary requirements
