The Aromatic Apothecary – A Fragrant Journey
From ancient of times shamans have used aromatics for healing and journeying. Smell is our most memorable, seductive and provocative sense. We can sniff out potential partners, dangers, friends and family, good foods, bad foods, and so on.
In this workshop we will employ an anatomical, pheromonal feature right up our noses called the Jacobson’s Organ to guide us through a journey of myriad images in our inner landscapes. You will be blind folded so that your eyes do not come back to tell you what you think; only your nose knows here.
This powerful journey is a beautiful blessing, you only need to receive; we will offer about 30 aromas from around the world, all of them pure essential oils or live plant material.
If you have strong allergies, pregnant, have heart problems, or take psychotropic medications then this journey may not be for you.
