Athanor
The two self-catering cottages at Athanor are situated on a secluded 1.7 ha piece of land, at the end of a cul-de-sac, away from the Main Road. Loerie accommodates four guests, and Piet-my-Vrou six. From the cottages you will experience breathtaking views down the Thyume valley; you may even be engulfed within minutes by a cloud, and visibility cut down to a few meters.
Amazing photographic opportunities present themselves throughout the year, with autumn and spring offering a kaleidoscope of exotic colours. Capture the beauty of life and the creation, equipped with your photo device and a walking stick while strolling down a short forest walk on the property to a tranquil little perennial stream on the property border. While enjoying the twilight, you may be blessed with experiencing one of nature’s most wonderful gifts as you observe the picturesque discolouration of the skies displaying the awe of creation.
Loerie Cottage offers the following:

- Open-plan living space has a sleeper couch for 2
- Bathroom with shower, toilet and basin

- Fully equipped kitchen with wide range of crockery, fridge/freezer, gas stove and microwave
- Cosy wood burning fire place (1 Basket of wood provided, thereafter R45 per basket)
- All linen, blankets and towels provided
- Weber Braai, utensils and patio set

Loerie Rates:
- R1 100 per night for 2 adults
- R300 per night per extra guest
- Maximum of 4 guests
Piet-My-Vrou offers the following:
- One bedroom with a Queen size bed, with electric blanket
- Loft with two 3/4 beds
- Open-plan living space has a single day bed and a sleeper couch for one
- DSTV: Mnet movie channels, TCM, KykNet, Sports channels, SABC 1, 2, 3, and E
- Bathroom with bath, basin and shower, with a wall heater
- Separate toilet with basin
- Fully equipped kitchen with wide range of crockery, fridge/freezer, electric stove and microwave
- Cosy Jetmaster fire place (1 Basket of wood provided, thereafter R30 per basket)
- All linen, blankets and towels provided
- Weber Braai, utensils and patio set
- Complimentary beverage on arrival
