AMETA
AMETA is our local marketing and tourism organisation. It represents tourism organisation in the Amathola district which incorporates Cathcart, Stutterheim, Happy Valley and Hogsback. It also forms part of Ectour which advances tourism in the Eastern Cape. It is a Non Profit Company registered with CIPRA. Here is an excerpt from the Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI) that elaborates on the vision of the organisation:
AMETA also support a local walk information centre, which at the moment is located at Woltree shop.
