Happy Hogs Restaurant and pub is indeed a happy place to go and eat. Not only does it do great wholesome food, but the cozy restaurant also is a favourite “kuier-plek” for visitors and locals alike. It sports quite a few fireplaces where you can chill, while having your favourite drink and bite to eat.
There are many choices on the menu, ranging from burgers and pizza to good-value breakfasts and
comfy foods like curries and Moroccan dishes.
It has a big garden area where you can sit under the verandah or under the trees among the flowers. The food is delicious and the staff friendly.
It also have a home industry shop where you can buy all kinds of locally made arts and crafts, as well as homemade jams and delicacies. On most Saturday mornings you will find some local crafters selling their goods.
On Sundays they have a special going for a main meal and desert for R129, which is really good value for money. Keep your eye on the boards outside to see what specials are on on a daily basis. They often host live music events.
