Hogsback’s premier full service Guesthouse , established in 2002, remains the only local catered establishment to have attained both 4 Star  (TGCSA) and Superior Accommodation  (AA) accreditations.

With the advent of several delightful local eateries in recent years, we have reduced our offerings to ( full English ) B&B in the Guesthouse, which caters for max 6 in 3 double-en-suites, each with private pool and garden-facing covered patios. The charming Settler-period thatched lounge area offers the opportunity for stimulating conversation around an open fireplace, with wide selection of books, music and complimentary sherry.

2 additional, privately situated en-suite units each accommodate a couple on a self-catering basis, with braai facilities and equal access to pool and gardens.

The 3 individually furnished double en-suite guest bedrooms, featuring original artworks, all have covered private pool and garden facing patios.

Tea/coffee stations, a small bar fridge (stocked with fresh milk daily) and fresh Spring water, are provided in each. Bathrooms are stocked with complimentary toiletries.

Each room contains a top of the range bed or beds with electric blankets and quality duck down duvets. Bedrooms are strictly non-smoking.

Whilst we cater mainly for the overseas market, South Africans are welcome to negotiate their stays to suit their own budgetary constraints. We remain dedicated to providing excellence in hospitality and have been instrumental in securing a future in Tourism, for Hogsback.  Your raconteur host is 5 Star Hotel trained and SA Host accredited, at your service.
