RiZen Creations

We are so excited to open our little shop in the beautiful village of Hogsback, on top of the Amatola mountains in the Eastern Cape.

(Opposite SaveMor, Main Road, Hogsback)

It has been an amazing journey of ups, downs, meanders and finally a beeeg jump in faith to start this new venture at an age where most people think of retiring. Our heart’s desire is that everyone will embrace their creativity and ‘arize’ to the challenge of blessing this world with their special gift. 💝 You are welcome to join us.

We will be kicking off with: a small selection of jewellery (resell, custom-made, handmade and recycling of old pieces), crocheted items and semi-precious stones.

May the fruit of our hands keep on growing for all to enjoy.

Please pop in and you are guaranteed there will be lots of love, laughter and hugs for free ❤️ (Author: Zenobia Wamback)

Santie Amery’s fine art and crafts will be available at the new shop, RiZen Creations, opening on Friday. You will also find the art of her son, Cobus, available there.

Santie Amery grew up in an artistic family and has been drawing and painting from early childhood. She studied art for two years before getting her teaching diploma in Potchefstroom. Her watercolour paintings have their unique style of playing with colour and detailed lining. Her oil paintings are more emotional and bold. She loves to experiment with different media. One of her favourite painting practices is sketching in nature. Santie currently lives and works as a full-time artist in Hogsback in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

Cobus de Jager is part of the fourth generation in an artistic family. He has been drawing since childhood but only recently started to paint in oils. He is mostly self-taught and loves to take risks by using unique and sometimes controversial themes for his paintings. He uses bold colours and brushstrokes to add emotion to his work. The rough openness and intense feelings in his art, speak deeply to his audience. Cobus lives and works in Hogsback, Eastern Cape, South Africa. (Author: Santie Amery)
