More about Cameron
Cameron Cordell is a cellist, pianist and legal academic currently residing in Port Elizabeth. Starting both instruments at an early age, he studied piano with Catherine Foxcroft at Rhodes University, earning his BA in Instrumental Music Studies, Classics and Legal Theory in 2013. He was also the cellist of the Rhodes String Quartet from 2010 – 2014, performing a range of works from Haydn to Ravel.
In 2010, he was selected to lead the cello section for the South African National Youth Orchestra as well as being a member of the Eastern Cape Philharmonic Orchestra since 2008. Recently, he attained his LLM in Public Law, and currently lectures and works as a researcher in the FishFORCE Fisheries Law Enforcement Academy.
