We are thrilled to present the very first instalment of our annual Boutique Hogsback Mountain Blues Festival on 9 – 11 September, featuring some of South Africa’s top-performing Blues acts!
Set in the early springtime in the picturesque mountain village of Hogsback, the festival promises to be a fun-filled weekend of music, craft & entertainment in an intimate setting.
Four venues will host 16 bands over 2 days as well as a grand finale jam session at The Edge, which will be one epic collaboration.
This will certainly be the first festival where you will find the top blues musicians in the country together on one stage… at the same time! We might even see some of the big guns of guitar shredding and taking each other on with some riff challenges, guitars played upside down, played with violin bows and who knows what else these masters will come up with?
All the venues are situated within walking distance of each other, giving you time between performances to meander through the village, visit craft stalls, enjoy street buskers, try some craft beer, and sample local handmade chocolates.
