Jaya’s Place

Jaya’s Place have 4 fully equipped self-contained cottages located on an active 25-acre permaculture, essential oils, fruit and vegetable production small holding. Each cottage has its own private garden space and outside recreational area.  It is set in a large garden with Proteas, Azaleas, Hydrangeas, and much more.

Relax in the garden and enjoy the abundant animal and bird life, including Samango monkeys, Knysna Louries and Cape Parrots. The property is situated on The Bluff, within easy distance of several beautiful walks, the Edge and the Eco Shrine.  Pets are most welcome as well!!

Main Cottage – Jaya’s Place (Sleeps max 9)

The main cottage has 4 bedrooms (2 downstairs and 2 upstairs) and can sleep up to 9 people. The main bedroom downstairs has shower/toilet en suite. There is a second bathroom/shower/toilet off the lounge downstairs. There is a fully equipped kitchen/dining area and separate lounge with a fireplace.

• Rates: R1000 for the first 4 guests and there after R165 pp

Rapunzel’s Cottage (sleeps 4)

Rapunzel’s Cottage has an upstairs bedroom on a mezzanine floor leading out onto a breakfast balcony overlooking the mountains. The second bedroom is downstairs off an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with fireplace. The unit has a shower and toilet downstairs.

Orchard Cottage Log Cabin (4 sleeper)

A compact cosy log cabin situated in its own large private garden away from the other cottages looking onto the Hogsback mountains, Tor Doone and Gaika’s top mountain. It has 2 bedrooms with a double & 2 single beds, a shower, bath and toilet combination.

Hakuna Matata (6 sleeper)

Hakuna Matata has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the second bedroom which can sleep 4 people. It has a lounge / dining room with a fireplace. It has a fully equipped kitchen and one bathroom (with bath, bath shower and toilet combination). Sleeper can be made up on request.
