Cannacopia
Cannacopia is our latest addition to the range of shops here in our little Village. The idea of a CBD Canna shop in Hogsback was born after the 2018 SA Concourt ruling where it was ruled that the personal use & possession of Cannabis in a private space is not a criminal offence.
Cannacopia was temporarily opened in December 2021 at The Gallery in the Main Road Hogsback for the month of December to gauge if there was a market for such a shop…we were overwhelmed with the response from locals as well as tourists. Cannacopia closed on 9 January 2022 to regroup and find a new premises. The Gallery was kindly offered to Cannacopia on a longer lease so Cannacopia reopened at the beginning of March 2022. We are hoping to revive The Gallery space to a place where people can pop in for a chat, take time out & relax in the middle of our colorful village and indulge in some retail therapy. This new addition to Hogsback has a growing range of CBD products from oils, creams, balms, edibles to books, grow bags & smoking gear.
CBD (Cannabidiol) is a (legal) component of the Cannabis plant, is non-psychoactive (i.e. it doesn’t make you high) & has many more healing benefits. The most common uses of CBD are for anxiety, depression, pain, inflammation, energy, focus & sleep.
